Digital and IT

Lecturer in Computing and IT

Up to 1 FTE (37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year)

Up to £38,630.00 per annum

We are looking to recruit a Lecturer in Computing, and IT to teach on a variety of Digital and Computing courses. The main responsibility of this role is to co-ordinate, deliver and support teaching and learning across programmes of study from Level 1 to Level 5.

You will:

  • Have relevant vocational industry experience, including one or more of the following: IT Technical Support, Databases, Cyber Security, Networking, Software/Application Development, Data Modelling.
  • Hold a teaching qualification (Level 5 Education and Training/ DTLLS or equivalent) and be able to demonstrate teaching/training experience or have relevant industry experience and committed to working towards a Level 5 teaching qualification.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills
  • Be a team player committed to excellence
  • You will be flexible and ideally be familiar with the current issues and challenges within FE. You would be joining a supportive team which has a strong focus on improving standards and achieving success.
